| Rex: Lesean McCoy Capable Of Doing More than Taking Goal Line Runs |
In the last only five touchdowns was scored by LeSean McCoy in Philadelphia. In most of the cases when there was a goal line situation he was taken off the field. There might be a change in NFL 2015 as Fred Jackson & Anthony Dixon are on the sidelines due to the injury and Rex Ryan might use him to substitute them on the field. On Friday McCoy was seen in the goal line formation of Buffalo Bills Talking about McCoy rain said
"He's not just a shake and bake guy and all that."
He also added as a player McCoy can stick it there and it was real good to see. In the practice on Friday McCoy was able to a pass through crack on the first drill on the right side and he was able to make a touchdown.
About the play McCoy said he had the easy job to get in there and get to the end zone and the main job was done by the guys of upfront who did their job nicely to block well. He has to play a far bigger role in NFL 2015 in the running games with Felton. So it was great combination to mix up the guys up front.
Although the size and running style of McCoy does seem him as an obvious choice for goal line. Even Barry Sanders, who has similarity with McCoy, did not take part in the end zone either. Players like Vardell also known as "Touchdown Tommy" usually fits the job much better. The quote made by Ryan has put a smile on the fans of Fantasy Football of NFL 2015.
