Jaguars vs. Steelers Result |
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
If you think that the Jacksonsville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortle's is not good enough, even after showcasing his stellar performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers just because it was the first pre-season match, then you are not seeing the bigger picture. Let’s consider the Jaguars vs. Steelers Result, the 23-21 win, was a clear sign that things were not so easy for either of the teams. The Jaguars were hosting the Steelers and Blake played exceptionally well into the second quarter facing off a mixture of rotational and starter guys. It was Blake’s next two drives that showed those who did not believe in him that he is still in good form, and one of the best since Maurice Jones and David Garrand.
Blake’s first drive was a three and out, but Julius Thomas was taken out with an injury on the second day. Blake's second drive, was the 13 play, 60 yard lead that brought about the field goal. Blake’s third lead ended with the 4th and goal, and that is what made the Jaguars vs. Steelers Result to be 23-21. Overall, we can say that it was a great night for bottles with good statistics with 11 for 15 and 118 yards passing and a single rushing touchdown, don’t forget that the receivers made three clear drops.
However, not everything was as good in the game. The left offensive line suffered greatly through injuries. On the other hand, Luke Joeckel also lifted hard on the second lead of the match facing off James Harrison. Conspicuously missing on the defensive line were Sen Derrick marks and Chris Clemons. Dave House was beaten pretty badly by Martavis Bryant on the first lead. Also, Jonathan Cryprien made some bad angles on a few ruin plays. But an exemplary quarterback covers over many bad plays and Jaguars vs. Steelers match was about Blake's.
The overall Jaguars vs. Steelers Result ended as 23-21. Blake can play anyhow for jaguars and it was good for him to have a great game on Friday. Blake completed 11 of 15 passes for 1118 yards. Chad Henne, Blake’s backup was solid during the game.
