Washington Charles Retires From FOOTBALL

Washington Charles Retires From FOOTBALL

The Washington Huskies could have just lost their best offensive lineman, with Coach Chris   announcing on Monday morning that Charles is retiring for medical reasons. Chris mentioned a   lingering knee injury as the reason Charles is leaving the football scene. Chris is stepping away after starting over 30 games in the last three years that he has been playing for the club. He further continued to say that they are very disappointed his injury will not allow him to continue playing in the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015. However, he was fast to appreciate what Charles has been able to do for the team and wished him all the best as he continues aspiring to become a coach one day.

Charles had missed spring practice sessions because of the injury and had been the only full time starter for Washington on the offensive line. He was supposed to start at the left guard, but to the surprise of many, he has been able to play in multiple positions. The huskies make their entry into the season on 4th September in Boise State, where Peterson had assisted build the broncos before leaving for Washington back in 2013.

With over 30 starts through the first three seasons he was at the club, it is an undisputed fact  that Charles was the most experienced player of the Washington’s, considering their relatively inexperienced lineup. Born in Camano Island, Charles has already graduated with a degree from UV and it was only normal for him to start as a starting left guard for the Huskies. For the better part of his career Charles has been playing through a series of injuries and it was the only time that would tell what happened next. As he continues playing, it was clear that the main problem was in his shoulder.

Everyone at the club was very disappointed for this kind of news to come at this time when the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 is just starting. With the inexperienced quarterback left, it will not be easy for the huskies to get through this season without struggle.

Towles Maintains His Position As Kentucky's Starting QB

On Monday, coach mark stoops said that Patrick Towles, redshirt junior will be the starting quarterback for Kentucky as the season starts. Last season, Towles started all the 12 games for the wildcats throwing 14 touchdowns, 2, 718 yards with 9 interceptions. With 20 touchdowns   in total, he was able to finish 10th. The coach said Towles was able to benefit from the competition with drew barker who is a redshirt freshman. Becker was also the ESPN 4 star prospect. Shannon Dawson, the new offensive coordinator said that during the spring he was open to both the present uarterbacks, but Towles got the chance because he was more experienced and that’s why he was included in the Towles maintains grip as Kentucky's starting QB in College Football 2015/NCAA 2015.

Mark stoops, Kentucky Coach wants College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 wants the third season to end with the winning spree that he had promised when he was first hired. Last season, the wildcats looked inspiring and were headed in the right direction at 5 -1 before the hard second half schedule that ended with a six game losing period with no bowl bid.

According to Dawson, Towles has got the talent the team needs to move up the table and take the title. Dawson stated that he has been around many players but he has never played so close to one with the kind of talent that Towles has. He said

“as far as arm talent goes, I have not  been around anybody with the arm strength.”

Kentucky Opens the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 on 5th September against the Sun Belt   conference Louisiana Lafayette. Last year, the wildcats had 5 -7 -, 2- 6 in the SEC.

It is only time that will tell whether Towles is able to live up to the many praises he has received lately. As the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 Season, wildcats fans can expect the best from a   man they have entrusted in a position that is not as easy to fill. It is only fair that Towles gets a fair chance to prove showcase why he deserved that position.

SEC PRESEASON RANKINGS OF POSITIONS : RUNNING BACK

SEC PRESEASON RANKINGS OF POSITIONS : RUNNING BACK

After getting started with the quarterbacks on Monday, the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 Preseason Position Rankings continued on Tuesday by analyzing one of the conference’s most   powerful positions.

1. Georgia

Is the debate here real? Nick Chubb ranks highest among the nation’s top tailbacks and the good news is that he has a lot of support coming from the bulldog’s backfield. As a matter of fact, Sony Michel was rated much higher than nick when they both signed with Georgia last season, not forgetting that Keith marshal is a great player himself. George is equipped with 5 players deep at tailback, and this places the bulldogs as the deepest and strong backfield in the nation.

2. Alabama

Even a small weakness of the backfield confusion cannot knock out Alabama from this list. Derrick Henry is still there to carry the ground game. Additionally, Alabama also has the backing of Kenyan Drake who is a fantastic player, back from a long period of injuries, it is also home to Damien Harris, a newly recruited freshman tailbacks.

3. LSU

Tigers not only boast of having a new superstar in Leonard Fournette, but they also have an amazing support behind him by the name Darrel Williams. Fournette will become the centerpiece of LSU in College Football 2015/NCAA 2015.

4. Tennessee

There is enough talent in Tennessee’s backfield to make great improvement this fall. Jalen Hurd   leaving an exemplary stellar freshman campaign and has sought-after new signee Alvin Kamara on his side. If the entire group performs better, Jalen, Kamara and josh Dobbs a quarterback will be a force to reckon with.

5. Auburn

Probably auburn will make more throws with Jeremy under the center, but the team still has a few options within the backfield.

6. Missouri

The struggling offense of the tigers found an ignition from the running game during last season’s six match winning streak that saw the production of a second SEC East title.

7. Arkansas

The Razorbacks had ranked higher on the list before Jonathan Williams a leading rusher suffered a foot injury that saw him out for the rest of the season.

RITTENBERG: USC SANCTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED, STILL NOT WHOLE

Cody Kessler is still remembering the message that was Marcus Allen intention after he  delivered it to Keesler approximately two years ago. USC had gone to a very low point of the area of the NCAA, the 3-2 start in year 2013 that stimulated the sacking of coach lane Kiffin after the ugly loss in the Arizona state. It is after this loss that Kessler and other interested parties started asking what could happen after that. Then Allen entered the tense team room the next week, and the Heisman trophy winner went to become a starting quarterback for Trojan.

Kessler now enters the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 his final season at USC with good numbers but there is no trophy or championship. A chance to put a stop to Trojans many years of title drought (11 years for the national trophy and pac-12, this is what brought Kessler back to the time for the fifth year. Like any other coach, Kessler sees a roster with good number sand talent, and this is why he strongly believes that he will help bring the title back home. The media also agree to this fact, and ranked USC as the pac-12 best, ahead of Oregon who were 2015’s national runner – up.

As we speak, this College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 the Trojans are now practicing with 78 scholarship players, this is not perfect, but it is much better to what they had last season. Trojan had to go through some of last year’s matches with less than 50 talented scholarship players.

One of the issues that those who are associated with USC face lately has been the right hypothesis, stating that the Trojans have more talent than other teams. USC has just produced 2 first round picks in two of the recently played NFL drafts. In July at pac-12 media days, Kyle whittingham, Utah coach echoed what many have said that the team has less star players than they should have.

However, they were quick to note that it takes more than stars strength to win titles in the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015.

Miller: Hate Or Love Them, You Will Be Watching Trojans In 2015

There is no doubt that USC is back, a national title contender and Pac -12. The SEC? Ohio State? These some of the entities that the Trojans pick their teeth. Previously the Buckeyes lost 7 games to USC in a row, the last time they beat the Trojans was back in 1973. On the other hand, the Trojans are 21-11-1 against the SEC and have won four games in a row without losing; the last time they lost was back in 1986. And yet, all this seems unbelievably common, including impulses to tweak other powers about USC expected comeback to the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015.

It happened back in 2012 when at Barkley, USC quarterback caught many by surprise when he made a decision to come back for his senior year. There were rumors about at least 19 starters returning from the team that had finished last season ranked number six. Obviously, there was great talent everywhere, but Barkley was the one who made the impact.

The exaggeration regarding USC’s comeback was relatively common all over the country,  noticing that Trojans were number one in the AP poll preseason. However, what happened   back in 2012 has little or no significance to what will happen in the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 Season. But remembering the fractured crew leaving the field after being bitten by Georgia tech in the sun bowl invites some understandable skepticism today.

It is true to say that the only seats remaining on the USC bandwagon are the central seat. However, it might be okay to lean on what they have for the moment until sometime in Oct 1. By this point in time the Trojans will have played the Arizona State and Stanford, which is a perfect match of teams that have been ranked nationally. For this reason, it is only fair that we give him enough time to prove themselves.

While the USC might not be playing in the best form right now, but the perception towards the team has not changed in the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015.

Sarkisian Said Freshman QB Ricky Town Leaving USC

On Sunday Steve Sarkisian Trojans coach said that Ricky town, freshman quarterback was  granted release from the USC scholarship and will now be moving to another school. He   continued to say that Ricky had decided to transfer and that they wished him all the best in his latest endeavors. Also, he admitted that he had been a good player in the program and he was assured that he would continue excelling even after he goes to his new club in College Football 2015/NCAA 2015.

However, considering that fall semester program has not started At USC, Ricky will be allowed   to move to another school immediately and carry on the rest of the season as a redshirt. This way Ricky will be able to play in 2016. ESPN had ranked Ricky as the number QB pocket in the 2016’s class, he had registered at USC so that he could take part in the spring ball and get a shot at what he termed as a promising career.

At one point in time, the St. Bonaventure product was an Alabama verbal commit before  flipping all his commitment just after coach Sarkisian was hired at USC. Ricky also has had offers from Florida State, Stanford, Georgia, UCLA, among many more.

Ricky was one of freshman quarterbacks in the 2015 class for the Trojans. Keep in mind that   there were only two quarterbacks and seeing one of them leave was not as easy as you might think. Coddy Kessler was enrolled together with max Witeek, but Witteck left for Hawaii when Kessler got the job.

Trojans quarterback power, includes Darnold, Kessler, redshirt sophomore max brown. Jalen   Greene, redshirt freshman also came in, but during the off-season he moved to assume a receiver role.

At the moment, Matt Fin, ESPN 300 quarterback for the 2016’s class and has been included as one of the finalists for Martell. Tate Martell will make his announcement for the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 of choice on Thursday. This is something that has been expected for a long time and it’s only prudent that he is doing it now.

WR Cortez Lewis Of Wake Forest Becomes Handshake King

Wake Forest came together for the first College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 Preseason first team meeting and assistant coach Asil Mulbah saw something that   he had never seen before. Cortez Lewis, redshirt freshman receiver stood as he was standing in a receiving line, greeting everyone with their unique handshake. When asked how many handshakes he had, Lewis responded by saying at least 50, and this is what started the viral message that Cortez Lewis handshakes.

The short clip that the assistant poste don twitter was selected by football fanatics and re-tweeted at least 2,600 times. As demand for more videos increased, Mulbah assembled a two minute video showing the wide series of handshakes that Lewis had with his teammates. As If that was not enough, Lewis stated that he had more handshakes with basketball players and his classmates as well. When asked again, he said he had no idea of the number of handshakes he has with people, all what he knows is that they are more than 50.

Losing one’s mind does not seem impossible, considering the number of people   that find Lewis’s handshakes to be interesting. What makes him special is that each handshake is unique and he is able to remember each one of them. Lewis said that the handshake comes to mind when he sees the person. He further said that this was a ritual he had started back when he was in high school, but it had not escalated to this extent. Back then they were just a few handshakes with teammates and friends, but that has turned into a viral phenomenon.

In his second week in the wake forest, Lewis decided to handshake with   cornerback Merril Noel, which was an amazing way to start a cool handshake. The coolest handshake and one that Lewis stated was his best, is 1:20 minute with the tailback James ward. The video posted on twitter closes with special shakes from Kevin Higgins receivers.

All these handshakes may intensify expectations in the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 field, where Lewis will have a much bigger role.

Mystery Surrounds Football Player Death Shot By Police

Dreams filled with vibrant images started a month ago. The visions, as he  explained set James Taylor on a soul searching journey to look for Jesus Christ. Taylor was brought up in a religious home where people joined hands every night   for that the father could pray for their protection. Of the three football playing   brothers from one family, Taylor was the youngest. Adrian, the oldest among the   three played for Oklahoma and had also spent a short spree as a Seattle Seahawks   lineup. Taylor’s dreams shifted from air Jordan’s and College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 to God when he started having visions. Weeks before his untimely demise, Taylor told friends and family’s that they had to know the lord, he promised anything to anyone who would agree to go to church with him.

It was not until last month that the redshirt freshman defensive player at Angelo   state university that saying that tomorrow was not promised. He also sent messages to his pastor at Arlington’s Christian church and to Dr. Ronnie Goines indicating that he would die soon. For this reason, Taylor started believing that it was his responsibility to change the world before he left.

Taylor’s death has ignited the discussion condemning the use of excess force by  the police. Taylor’s death could act as a catalyst to the reforms that lead to less African American men being shot by law enforcers. Brad miller, a police officer  in  Arlington, shot the unarmed Taylor multiple times a few minutes after 1am when   the officers responded to a burglary call at the local car dealership. The premises CCTV surveillance showed James Taylor destroying property before the six officers   arrived at the scene; it is so bad that Taylor will not be featuring in the College football 2015/NCAA 2015. Brad miller, a police officer who was yet to complete his field-training is the one who took the shot, for this reason he was fired on Tuesday and still remains a suspect to criminal charges.

Jerald McGlothin, one of Taylor’s cousins said that he had just spoken to Taylor just after midnight and everything seemed to be okay.

Coaches' first jobs: Saban's Coke truck, Bielema's Skylark and more

College football 2015/NCAA 2015 coaches are just like anyone else, before they  became household names with million dollar jobs, they were low paid assistants, with additional side hassles to make ends meet because the coaching job was not paying well enough. Here are some stories to help you understand where these coaches started from.

Bill Snyder

Bill started by teaching Spanish in a high school. In a report, bill admitted that his first job was as an assistant coach in Gallatin Missouri. Bill stated that he has served as an assistants coach for a very long time, first as an assistant football coach, assistant basketball coach, assistant track coach and women’s basketball coach. Apart from coaching, bill also served as a driver for a school bus and taught several units of Spanish that he knew nothing about.

Bret Bielema

Bret has owned a Buick Skylark in his first semester, before storming the lone star   and ordering a steak. On the second semester, he graduated as a full time GA, where he only made $6,000 a year. Bret indicated that he served as a GA for two  years before becoming the coach of linebackers at the University of Iowa.

Nick Saban

Nick started as a GA at Kent state under Don James. These are the guys that paid   for his schooling; he worked there as he pursued a master’s degree. Nick got hired   to coach linebackers when Don James left, as a coach nick earned $8000 a year.as a GA nick was also having another side job where he was driving a coke truck, the same thing happened during his junior and senior years.

Mike Leach

Mike started as an assistant offensive line coach at Cal poly-San Luis Obispo and he was more than excite for that position. He had just graduated as a lawyer and he was working on a masters. With a wife and a daughter bills had to be paid and mike had to work 16 hours a day.

Other Coaches such as Dave Clawson (started off working at a landfill in Lewiston)  and Paul Johnson (caddying and hitchhiking). Each of the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 Coaches started from somewhere.

Selecting The Best College Football Team In Every State Entering 2015

People love filling drafts, but they love college football more. If you have been waiting for the College Football, then your wait is over because it’s here now. In forging ahead to the upcoming College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 Seasons, fox sports college writers Bruce Feldman and Stewart Mandel made a choice to hold a draft for the nation’s top players. Keep in mind that this is not just any other fantasy football draft; both the writers are putting together a real team to face each other for a fabricated spot in 2015’s College Football Playoff.

Below are the rules that will apply

Each writer will pick 22 starting players, a kicker and a second quarterback and a punter make up for the complete list of 50 picks, which will be divided into the first and second round.

Each of the writers ha to choose one player at every spot, but he will decide  whether to run a 3-4 or 4-3 defense and three receivers or two running backs and much more.

Also, each of the writers has to choose one freshman

The draft order, normally goes in a snake. Stewart was the one who made the first   pick, with Bruce getting number two and three picks; he was then followed by Stewart, who went for four and five, and so on and so forth.

Bruce and Stewart traded insights, compliments and barbs in this first installment, while at the same time making their 25 picks. The numbers 26 to 50 and the completed line up will be published on Tuesday. After revealing the lineup list, it will be upon the readers to vote and comment on the writer who picked the best team. The writers will also discuss their selected line ups in the new audible podcast episode on Tuesday.

Keep in mind that the list will be based on teams that the writer believe are performing well in the College Football 2015/NCAA 2015 as opposed to the   programs that have been successful. Nine teams will be represented on the map.

Julian Bailes, M.D., from North Shore University Health System (Chicago) is expected to attend. He is also the chairman of medical advisory board of Pop Warner Football. He said,

"There have been numerous  advances in our understanding of concussion treatment, and this conference should facilitate the implementation of best practices to make participation in all sports safe."

This meeting will be fully  funded by the NFL Foundation. Talking about the need of such meeting Charlotte Jones Anderson, the vice president of Dallas Cowboys & chair of the NFL Foundation said,

Alabama Quarterback Jake Coker on Sideline Due To Foot Injury

Alabama Quarterback Jake Coker on Sideline Due To Foot Injury

Jake Coker, the quarterback of Alabama is going to miss "several days" prior to NCAA 2015 as he is suffering from a minor foot injury. The news was revealed by Nick Saban, their coach on last Monday through a statement. This has made a twist in the quarterback battle of Alabama. There is still no   number one and both freshman Blake Barnett and senior Jake Coker are trying for it.

In the statement Saban said,

“Jake Coker has a minor foot injury that we think will keep him out of  practice for several days and our physicians anticipate full recovery."

This will create a chance for Blake  Barnett to make more impression in practice and he might be able to create some gap with his competitor. But so far none of them have made an impression do far as they are still catching up in the practice till now. On last Saturday frustration was shown by Saban with the low performance of the quarterbacks during a scrimmage. He said that either one of them have to make it happen as he can’t do it on the field. He also said,

"As bad as I'd like to make it happen, I can't make it happen... If it doesn't get  decided, like it didn't when AJ (McCarron) and Phillip Sims were here, they both played a quarter, a quarter, a quarter, a quarter in the first game, and that's how we figured it out before we start College Football 2015.''

Personally Saban would really love that either one of his quarterbacks to emerge as the number one   choice before they take on Wisconsin in week 1 of NCAA 2015. Because rotating quarterbacks for each quarter should not bring out the required result. This makes the injury very unfortunate for Coker. As he is going to miss the practice for a extend period he will fall behind in the race and Saban has to carry on with the other available quarterback as his number one choice for the season.

NLRB Ruled Against the Unionization of Northwestern Players

NLRB Ruled Against the Unionization of Northwestern Players

The football players of the Northwestern will not be able to make any attempt to unionize. The decision  was made by the National Labor Relations Board on Monday which dismissed the petition. The five member of the national board was unanimous with the previous ruling which was given by Peter Sung Ohr, the NLRB regional director on March of 2014. In that ruling, the main two conclusions were that Athletic scholarships are equal as compensation with the exchange to work for the school and Coaches have total control over the athletes of the college. The NLRB also determined that if certification of players’ petition is made then the balance of the NCAA 2015 will be upset. The decision is regarded as a great victory for NCAA which was strongly supporting the appeal of Northwestern against the status of the employee.

In April 2014, ballots were casted by the Northwestern players to vote whether they will favor the union or not. The ballots were impounded immediately which kept the NLRB decision pending and the ballots will never be counted due to the recent verdict. Earlier the coaches and administrators of Northwestern urged their players to keep away from unionizing. But the ruling of the NLRB made on Monday did not make sure whether the Northwestern players are compared to employees or not. The board wrote,

"We  address this case in the absence of explicit congressional direction regarding whether the Board should   exercise jurisdiction. We conclude that asserting jurisdiction in this case would not serve to promote.''

In a statement the decision was praised by the Northwestern and they said they are happy with the   players that they were able to bring the national attention on such important issues. But they also said they believe unionization is not the right method to add the problems which were raised by the student -  athletes for playing College Football 2015. In a statement Pat Fitzgerald, the coach of the Northwestern said,

"My players displayed maturity beyond their years through this process, and the experience has  unquestionably brought us closer together as a football family."

Does Adam Ready to Take the Place of Vernon

College Football transfer of NCAA 2015 is on. One Adam’s coach Dean Herrington has declared that the transfer of Adam to Oregon is final. It is one of the major transfer that people will love to talk. Also Oregon fans are happy to have him. Their coach and team members are also happy with the new man as they said that Adam is the perfect man for Oregon. Though everyone predict that this transfer is successful because of Dean. Though rumors said that Dean suggested Adam to join in UCLA. But Adam denied because he thinks that it will cause much distractions. Ducks assistant said as he was asked, that players are interested to play in Oregon. But they think Vernon Adams is the best replacement for Russell Wilson.

The coach said Adam is a wonderful player and he needed this transfer for his own good. In the last   season Adam did a run for 475 yards. Also he did touchdown for seven times when Eagles pushed   Washington in the brink of upset. Eagles won the match by 59-52. Bralon Addison did remember the day still now. He said he saw the guy ripping of Washington. He did not know his name at the time. He said they used to say him number 3 during the match time. That is the time when they saw potentiality in Adam.

Scott Frost, offensive coordinator of Oregon said that Marcus is impressed with Adam’s recent form. He said when he was kid, he did not knew much about Vernon. He thinks it is not easy to talk about the replacement between superstar Vernon and freshman Adam. In one side Vernon played three years on the other hand Adam is a rising superstar who has the most potentiality right now in NCAA (2015) tournament. But he confirmed that they need a player in Vernon and Adam is the best choice. Adam   was lived in Pasadena, California, when he was a kid. He started his first playing with Eastern Washington. He started his career against Montana in 2012. He said that it was his dream to play with Oregon. He also did mention that he always picked Oregon at the time of playing in Play station. Let’s hope that he will continue his form in Oregon and able to win fan’s heart as a College Football player.
