Buffalo Bills vs. Carolina Panthers
The Buffalos Bills have a three way quarterback problem going on between Tyrod Taylor, Matt Cassel and Ej Manuel. That said and done, Taylor gave him an edge as it was reflected by the Bills vs. Panthers Result last night. Trod Taylor threw in some outstanding passes. Taylor was able to successfully complete 5 of 8 passes for 49 yards without any interceptions or touchdown, but he was able to lead two nice drives that ended well with the buffalos making some impact on the scoreboard. With his exceptional performance, Taylor secured his position in the starting line up next week.
Unfortunately, Manuel did not look good from the beginning. Manuel's first drive was terrible, though Alex Kupper had a few rough snaps and marquise Goodwin dropped the ball that did not do him any favors. Technically, the ball was in Manuel’s hands, but he was not able to make the most out of it. The Buffalo Bills presented a competent quarterback and a very strong defense play to secure a half time and a fourth quarter lead on the Panthers vs. Bills Result board, but gave up with a disastrous touchdown with only a minute remaining in the 25-24 pre-season opening loss to the Carolina Panthers. Cassel led one drive into the end zone on two different trips with the first offensive play of the team, but terribly shanked Jordan gay scoring chance meant no points. Ej Manuel was the man of the game for the better part of the second half, and while his center was not of much help and the receivers often dropped the ball, Manuel made one of the best throws in his football career for the 50 yard touchdown to denote Thompson. However, all the three quarterbacks did not do much to change the minds of the fans.
Buffalo Bills will face the Cleveland Browns next on Thursday Night with an intention of changing things from what was reflected on the Bills vs Panthers Result board.
